I don't know why I just felt like watching "Sleepless in Seattle (1993)" without any reason... and I'm glad I did!! ...It's such a beautiful movies that I don't think I'd get sick of watching from time to time... It reminded me of the classical movie "An Affair to Remember (1957)" which I watched for the first time during my first Perth trip when I was visiting Rabbit earlier this year.
In Sleepless In Seattle, I particularly like the line when Sam Baldwin (Tom Hanks) was on the radio talking to Dr.Fieldstone about what is he going to do with his life after losing his wife, and he said:
"Well, I'm gonna get out of bed every morning... breath in and out all day long. Then, after a while I won't have to remind myself to get out of bed every morning and breath in and out... and, then after a while, I won't have to think about how I had it great and perfect for a while."Ahh... Somehow I understand that feeling... it's so true, so right, and so very "there"! ...
Anyway, it's funny that I already knew it's a happy ending (cos I probably watched this movie many many times), BUT it still made my heart skipped a few beats worrying about what if they couldn't meet on top of the Empire State Building... lolx...
I had an affair with Sleepless In Seattle tonight, and I am smiling...
Sweet dreams! ... ;)
