How was your Halloween? ...Mine was quiet...
I was hoping the kids would dressed up and knock on my door because I actually rushed to supermaket to buy a few packet of lollies and chocolates after work... The door bell didn't ring the whole night... and now I probably would put on a few extra kilos because of those lollies and chocolates I bought... =/...Hmmmm... Actually, I will bring them to work to distribute to my colleagues (so that I wouldn't have to carry all the calories all by myself... muahahahahaha)
So, what's the story behind Halloween? ...I asked a few of my colleagues and they have no idea but the pumkins and all the treat or trick... hmmm... I couldn't be bothered looking up on Google because I am not that keen on Halloween anyway... (Grown up are boring, isn't it??)... hehe... Well, it's just another ordinary day (since the kids didn't knock on my door for treat or trick)... =)

One after another...

Guess what? ...I have forgotten ANOTHER birthday of my dearest friend...
Actually, while I was suffering from my back pain yesterday, I was playing with my phone (to personalized some ringtones to my contacts)... and I sorta remembered that it's my friend's birthday this few days...
Well, as I mentioned previously that I'm terrible with Birthdays and Dates... and I thought of calling him just to see how has he been and find out which day exactly his birthday is (cos I knew it's either 28th, 29th, 30th or 31st October, but I couldn't pin point which date exactly??)... haha... Anyway, I then fell asleep without making any calls...
12am midnight... I was already asleep and my phone rang... Who the heck called me so late? ...Ignore it and continue to snore...
Early this morning I woke up and checked my missed call... and it was the friend whom I was thinking of!! ...How cool was that, I thought... And just as I was feeling quite contended with my PSYCHIC power (haha)... My phone rang and it's my friend again... hmmm... terrible feeling rushing through me... Why? ...cos I knew the reason why he called...
As usual... I have missed his birthday... to make it worst, this is the fifth or sixth birthdays of his which I have missed... and to top it off, this is also the fifth or sixth time which he actually has to call me and scold me... *sob*sob*... Feeling very awful actually... cos I have to wait for another year to proof that I actually do remember his birthday and I do treasure him as my dearest friend? ...hmmm...
After the phone call, I hurry entered his birthday onto my cool phone and something even worst happened to me... I have no idea how, but I accidently erased EVERYTHING on my phone's calendar!??!?! ...I lost all my appointments and schedules and birthdays on my calendar!!!! ...@#$%&$
So, to all my dearest friends... sms me now to let me know your birthday again... If you do not do so, do not blame me for not remembering your birthday.... (muahahahahahhahahaha!!)...

Backache....

I suffered a terribile back pain in the afternoon (probably from my bad posture or shrink with cold due to the freezing wheather these few days)...
Can backache kills?? ...I actually thought I was going to die because no matter how I tossed and turned on my bed, I just couldn't find a position that could relieaf me from the pain... The pain wasn't excruciating, but it was sore enough till I felt like throwing out... I think I would pass out if I didn't lie down too!!
Anyway, it took a while for me to calm myself down and tried to relax and wait for the pain to go away... and then I fell asleep... and now the pain has gone... Let's hope it won't come back tomorrow, or else I would have to see a doctor (which I hope I won't have to)... Oh well, better jump back to bed and take the weight off my back now....
Hmmm... Talking about the weight... Could it be that I'm growing FATTER that's why my spine couldn't take the LOADS ?!?!?!?... *sob*sob*... Please tell me I'm not fat (but telling me big bone won't work too ok!!) ...Ahhhhhhh... Time to lose some weight, yeah??? ...heheeeee... (Am I fat? ..Am I? ...Nah, just big bone.... dammit!)

So Fly for an Earring

Oh yeah, before I had the massive back pain, I was actually shopping with Winnie. Melb Cup day and Summer is coming soon and there's so many pretty Summer dresses around... and just as we were browsing for some jewelry right in the middle of the shopping centre. I spotted this Earrings which has a fly attached to it... It's kinda funny cos I thought they purposely put a fake FLY on the earrings to sorta make fun of the Summer in Australia (in case you don't know, the fly down under are humoungous and annoying. They'll fly around your face and follow you wherever you go... and if you talk too much, they might fly into your mouth!)...
Ok back to the FLY on the earrings... I started to check out the FLY cos I was amazed how real it looks! ...and I started to wonder if it was a real fly!! ...So I sorta push this earrings forward so that I could check out the other same earring design at the back of this one... and there's no fly on the others?!?... and guess what? ...the fly didn't move a bit while I was flipping and moving the earrings... I am positive that you could pat on the fly's head like patting a dog, and it still wouldn't move a bit... (but yuks!)
So there you go! The fly down under are as relaxed as Australian...

Tankini... Bikini... Linguini...

Today I took a sickie just to see my GP. She is like a guardian angel to me... Though I haven't seen her for nearly 1.5yrs and she's still very informative and caring (and beautiful!)...
Oh yeah!! I have finally bought my first tankini!! ...I have never had one before (even my hot mama wears a tankini to swim!)... and I think I was the only female who didn't bring any tankini/bikini to Bali... kekekek... (Wokay wokay, I still don't have Bikinis yet, but HEY! Tankini is good enough for now!! At least I'm taking my tiny little bunny steps to be a little less conservative??)... heeeeee...
Anyway, I have done so many things today... Like searching for accommodations and planning out the itinarery for Rabbit's visit to Melbourne end of this year... The 2 weeks itinarery is nearly done!! ...And my holidaying mode has been switched on now... Ahhh!!! ...Can't wait for year end!!! ...(Actually, I hope Rabbit's phone interview with Melb Uni would be sucessful tomorrow so that she could MOVE to Melb instead of visiting Melb end of this year... *Good luck, Rabbit*!! ...hohohoooooo....)
What a day today!!! ...I probably could have done all those during Saturday and Sunday, but whenever weekend comes, I'd rather sit back and relax instead of getting all those things fixed... And when weekdays started, I'd regret that I didn't take my time to do something during weekends, especially it'd be very tiring to do anything after coming back from work... hmmmph... Do you feel this way too or just me? ... =/
I shall get rid of my old habit and be more productive during weekends!!! ....HOHOHOHO!!!

Sozai...

I wonder what "Sozai" means in Japanese...
Anyway, we went to have dinner at Sozai Restaurant at High Street... This is one of the Japanese restaurant I would recomment everyone to drop in whenever they feel like having Japanese food. Their Sashimi Platter is not to be missed, because you will never find another Japanese restaurant in Melb which is this generous (their slice of sashimi is thicker than the others)...
Their menu is interesting too... Anyway, we had Agedashi Tofu, Gyu Tataki, Nasuden, Kaki fry, Miso Soup, Sashimi Platter (main), and Unagi Don, and Greentea Ice-Cream... and I am still full (had dinner 3 hrs ago) as I am typing this...
I guess my brother's girlfriend was probably too full until she accidently slipped and fell down in the restaurant... hehe... *quite embarrased* cos when we heard the big-bang, the whole restaurant suddenly fell silent, and the spot-light was all on her... *^_^*... hohoho... We were a little mean cos we couldn't stop laughing after she came back to the table... =P ...
I'm still very full... how?!! ...

Dr Suzuki also said "Australia had little credibility on the global scene to be lecturing other nations."... So, what do you think? ...As for me, I couldn't be more agree to Dr. Suzuki... lolx...

Environment-conscious...

El Nino has hit eastern Australia. This is the warmest and driest Spring ever... Can you imagine just few days ago, the weather hit 36 celcius degree during begining of Spring?!? ...I have long worried about the global warming and thought about how the world may end, and it's just quite frightening to experience all these changes now...
Stage 2 of water restrictions will take effect coming November in Melbourne. I truly hope everyone will take this seriously. I have friends who doesn't care about water saving, and make themself a luxurious and comfortable bath at home as often as they could when they have nothing better to do... Hell!!!! ...Totally unacceptable and what a selfish act!! ...
I'm even more disgusted when I saw the news on TV today, about the Government was planning to build 25 swimming pools for the school in the state... HELLO?!?! ...Building more swimming pools when we have water restrictions? ...Where the hell their brain is?
Anyway, I hope Australia will sign the Kyoto pack soon... We need to change cos the drought this year will bring up the prices of all the veges and fruits, and in a few years time drinking water will become a major issues if nobody is going to do anything about it... sigh...
I haven't watched THE INCONVENIENT TRUTH yet, but I certainly will buy a copy of the DVD and watch it myself, and force everyone around me to watch it too...
Let us be a little more environment-conscious...

Diamond is a girl's best friend... female always have this sparks in their eyes when they see diamonds... So how much do we know about diamonds before we pay thousands of money for just a ring?? ...People often use the size or weight (carat) to measure and to show off their diamond... but a diamond's value is actually depends on the way it was being cut, and not completely about how big it is... ain't it? ...Shall we learn more about diamonds' cutting technique before we take out our wallet?? ...
Anyway, I know very little about diamonds, and I'm not that into them... I'm not getting married any sooner (or never!), so I don't have to pay too much attention on diamonds... hehe... Aren't I lucky? ...and aren't my future hubby lucky (if he exists)... lolx!!
I am more into semi-precious stones (crystals) for healing purposes... and jewelry that made of natural coral, wood or bones, cos I think they are very very earthy and lovely... suit me and suit my style... hohohoo.... cos I'm not a rose person, I'm a sunflower-lover... =)

So many weddings this year... none of them are mine...
(To my secret admirers, yes there's still chances... heeeeee)
Sometimes looking at friends around me who are DESPERATELY finding love, scares me... Sometimes seeing friends who hang on to someome who doesn't love them back, makes me wonder why do I have friends who's not that wise enough to see that (sorry, it's a little harsh, but if you think I'm talking about you, then be a little wiser... heeeeee)...
So, how many couples who are getting married, are truly married in the name of love? (Do I make myslf sound SOUR? ...hahahhaahha... NOT!!)

Defectoe

Somebody at work talked about birth defects and I overheard them talking about if we have hair growing on our knuckles, that's a defects (?!!?)... and they also said if our second toe is longer than our first toe, that's also a defects... Geesh... I started to wonder if that was true and the first thing I reached home after work, was to do a google search... and I found this survey regarding our toes... (Reason why this topic interests me was because my second toe is longer than my first toe! ...heeeeee)...
Anyway, majority (50%) of the people has longer second toes (YEAH!!!)... So which numb-nuts said we are defects?! ...Derrr... (hahaha) ...

Long Time No See...

Such a beautiful day... not a single cloud in the sky... planned to trim my hair, but suddenly thought of a friend whom I haven't met for ages... I really didn't expect she would be in the mood to come out at all... She's been hiding in her cave and refused to come out since last year...
Anyway, we went to Elwood beach where there's this lovely Cafe near the beach, which is not as crowded as any other beaches in Melb (esp on such a beautiful weather)... Lotsa laughter... Lotsa great tales... Great time... Great day... Great fun... Great Place... and a Great friend... Hopefully it won't take another year to meet her again next time... =)

Drama

I received stupid prank calls yesterday morning, which freaked me out completely!! ...I told him off and hung up... I then closed all the blinds, and locked all the doors and windows... and I carried the biggest and sharpest knife wherever I go in the house!!! ...and soon after I finished doing my laundry, I went to my brother's place to spend my whole weekend due to I was too afraid of being home alone...
Anyway, now that I think back, maybe I was a little over-reacted... I mean, maybe he could tell that the first 4 digits of my home phone is located around Broadmeadows and that's why he started to say something that sounded like he knew "something"... Oh well, hope it was just nothing and I was just scarying myself... hmmm... what a weekend...
(Oh yeah, I forget to tell the funniest part... before I went to my brother's place, I actually pour some baby powder on the carpet of all the doors entrance... I wanted to make sure if anyone breaks in, they'd leave their marks on the carpet (?!?!!!!!!!)... I know I know... haha... What a rediculous thoughts that I came up with, huh!!! ...Oh well, that shows how well I could handle panicking... lolx)

Turn Blind Eyes and Deaf Ears...

Office politics drive me nuts... especially when our company is undergoing some major management, workflow and system re-constructions...
I hear complains and winging everyday... I see people confront or challenge the middle managers almost daily... I get tired listening to all the noises... I get stressed seeing so many ugly sides of everything... =/ ...Can't people be more fair, more polite, and nicer to each other? ...(See!!! I started to be like them now as I'm here winging and complaining... tsk!!!) ...heeeee...
Anyway, I found the solutions to all these though -- my headphone!! ...

I get stressed seeing so many ugly sides of everything... =/ ...Can't people be more fair, more polite, and nicer to each other? ...(See!!! I started to be like them now as I'm here winging and complaining... tsk!!!) ...heeeee...

Picnic @ Williamstown

The smell of sea... the smell of grass... the smell of early Spring!!!
We were having finger food and drinks while the dogs were running free chasing the sea breeze... Lying down looking to the horizon where the sky and the ocean joins while listening to the waves... ahhhh... so relaxed, so beautiful... Love it!
The weather started to change and we had to leave... Well, beautiful things usually won't last long, huh?! ...We ended up visiting a few display houses, and head home... We shall have another picnic again soon... =)

Birthdays Mixed Up...

Woke up in the morning, first thing came into my mind was to send an SMS to Rabbit wishing her Happy Birthday... I hardly remember friends' birthdays because I'm extremely terrible with numbers... Anyway, I was feeling kinda proud of myself that I actually remember her birthday...
While I was driving to do my tax return, I received her SMS telling me that her birthday was actually on LAST SATURDAY!!! ...I laughed so loud in my car with disbelieve!!! ...I was so CERTAIN that I thought it was her birthday today, and it turns out that I'm ONE week too late... AIKS!!! ...I remembered I asked her how was her last weekend without knowing it was her birthday too... YIKES!!! ... *I wanna hide*... lolx...

BB in Sydney

Guess what??? ...I've been dreaming about baby ever since I came back from my short weekend Sydney trip!!! ...(Is my biological clock ticking as well??)
Anyway, I can really see myself flying to Sydney more often now, totally because Baby Brandon is so cute!!!! ...Baby Celina is going to be very adorable as well in a few months time (because she is only 1 month old now and I dare not hold/carry her due to she's still very fragile)... More photos here!
