Good Friday...

We were having BBQ & Karaoke at my colleague's place today... The weather was beautiful when we were still setting up the BBQ in their backyard... but once we started to bring out all the marinated chicken wings and beef... the weather started to change! ...Hmmm... I think the higher above wasn't that happy about we're eating meat on Good Friday?? ...Anyway, we still had fun doing the BBQ in the garage...

Karaoke started after dinner and everyone shy away from the microphones... I think everyone started to have more confidence to sing after one or two person sang terribly (it was pretty funny at the begining cos no one was singing that seriously?)... Well, don't you think that helps? ...especially knowing you won't be the worst singer in the group, and you started to think that you can actually sing better than someone else... (at least that's where my confidence comes from anyway... hahaha)... Oh well, as usual, we ended up fighting for mic to sing at the end when everybody's confidence at the highest! ...but the night was forced to end when the clock pointed at 12am... (and yup, we are all Cinderella's relatives... and when will I get to meet my prince charming?? ...hehe)

Anyway, I had a great night with my colleagues and I came home with a smile... but I went to sleep with tears as I felt so awful and so guilty after talking to my dearest friend on the phone... I still find it difficult to put it in words... =(
