Went to Affordable Art Show today by myself... There's so many great paintings and I am so surprised to see M.C. Escher's original pieces which exhibited by Walker fine Art (USA) this year. I was absolutely over the moon because Escher has always been my favourite artist!! ...I admire his works cos they are absolutely brilliant!! ...
It took me a few good hours to finish browsing everything in the Art Show... And how I wished I have a lot of money to buy those beautiful pieces that I really love... Some people love cool cars, some female loves diamonds and fashion, and I'm a sucker for beautiful paintings... I've also decided to do more paintings and drawings again... I'll make time because I have so many ideas now!! ...(This is the reason why it's good to visit Art Gallery to recharge ourselves sometimes!)
Oh yeah, I went to book shop after that and bought 4 books to read:-
1. Life of Pi - Yann Martel
2. The Curious Incident of the Dog in the night - Mark Haddon
3. Family Matters - Rohinton Mistry
4. Whatever You Think Think The Opposite - Paul Arden
I also bought a few very colourful Yarns to start knitting my own scarf for this cold cold winter!!
Sometimes, life's meaning and purpose will only be revealed to us when we are alone... and we'd only start to think about things after loneliness creeps in... I found my way again and the loneliness feeling I felt last night has long gone... and I like the saying, "the strongest tress are those that grow alone"... =)
